This S-R6A12 uses precious-metal electrode technology for MWM TCG 2020 and C-A-T CG 170 gas engines, aimed at operators who want a longer interval between plug changes.

Precious-metal electrodes resist the material migration that erodes conventional electrodes, so the gap stays closer to nominal for longer. In practice this delays the point at which ignition energy starts to rise and misfires appear — particularly valuable where access to the engine is difficult or costly.

This spark plug series is widely applied in CHP plants, biogas stations, landfill gas projects and distributed power generation, where stable ignition directly determines electrical efficiency and heat recovery performance.

Emissions: a misfiring cylinder raises unburnt methane in the exhaust and can push the unit out of its permitted emission window. Timely replacement is an emissions control measure, not just maintenance.

Every TAKUMI plug comes off a vertically integrated line: precision grinding, laser welding, ceramic sintering and a full electrical test. Batch numbers are recorded for full traceability.

The stations below are the ones every production batch passes through — pressure and leakage, spark voltage analysis, ceramic high-voltage resistance, and an aging run. A plug only ships once it has cleared all four.

Q: How do I know it fits my engine?
A: Send us your engine model and serial number, or the OEM part number currently in the engine. We will cross-check it against our reference list and confirm before you order.

Q: Do you supply samples?
A: Samples are not supplied free of charge. Sample cost is negotiable — please contact us with your target model and delivery address.

Q: Can you supply under our own brand?
A: Yes — unbranded, your brand/logo, or custom packaging. Minimum quantities apply for custom branding.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: 20 pcs per item.

Q: What if a plug fails?
A: We warrant our spark plugs against manufacturing defects for a limited period from delivery. Spark plugs are consumable items: the warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from incorrect installation, engine faults, fuel or gas quality problems, or use outside the specified application.
